Energy Garrote

The Energy Garrote is a Covenant weapon typically utilized by Special Operations Sangheili. Once pulled apart the handler can active the weapon, energizing the wire, allowing them to quickly choke and burn their intended target quietly from behind. While typically the grips of the garrote are cylindrical in shape, this particular variant takes inspiration from that of the Type-25 DEP (Plasma Pistol) due to the energy it emits. Weapon smiths stated that the similarity between the two complemented each other rather well.

I wanted to bring the weapon Zuka 'Zamamee used in William Dietz's novel, Halo: The Flood, to life. Seeing as the original weapon emitted a green hue of energy rather than the normal blue, Appo' figured it'd be cool to make it more like the plasma pistol. More or less it's just a variant of the one mentioned in The Flood. Pardon the almost direct quote from Halopedia, there's not much else to describe this weapon. This was the last piece of art Apposauce was able to draw for me. Sadly his account has been deactivated and I've no way to contact him. If I do somehow end up hearing from him in the future, and he requests that the art be removed, I will oblige.
